2013 Edition

The fisrt edition of Feira do Património was held on the 18th, 19th and 20th of October 2013 at Museu de Arte Popular, in Lisbon. 39 stands, representing 44 public and private entities working with Culture, Tourism and economy, were present. Thefollowing entitieswere sponsors: Fundação Millennium bcp, Turismo de Portugal, Direcção Geral do Património Cultural, Lisboa Town Hall, Associação de Turismo de Lisboa, amongst others.
 
Feira do Património 2013 included an International Seminary ‘Heritage, Tourism, Economy: the way to the future’, a Debate about Cultural Tourism Routes and a strong programme with pedagogical entertainment, food, wine, workshops, concerts, presentations and other events.
 
The Seminars and the Debate received eight international speakers (from Spain, France, Italy, Greece and the USA), 19 national speakers and 164 participants. For the International Seminary on the 18th of October the room of the auditorium was fully booked; the opening and closing speeches was given by the Secretaries of State for Culture and for Tourism, Dr Jorge Barreto Xavier and Dr Adolfo Mesquita Nunes, respectively.
 
The Fair had 2120 visitantes on the first three days.
The evaluation by the exhibitors: 86% said they’d participate again in a new edition, while the rest chose ‘stil assessing’, which means there was no negative response; the Fair, in total, received 7,5 of 10 points.
 
The evaluation by the visitors: 88% said they’d come back.
